Key Responsibilities for Stock Controller:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of all stock items within the Cardiff depot
- Coordinate stock movements, including receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records
- Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimise losses and improve efficiency
- Generate reports on stock levels, consumption patterns, and stock movements
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve stock-related issues and ensure timely deliveries
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role within the logistics or transport industry
- Strong understanding of stock management principles and inventory control procedures
- Proficiency in using stock management software and MS Excel for data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording stock movements
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Qualifications in supply chain management or logistics
- Familiarity with lean inventory management techniques

Compensation & Benefits:
