Key Responsibilities for Treasury Analyst:
- Perform cash management activities including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies
- Assist in managing relationships with financial institutions and external partners
- Support in developing and implementing strategies for optimizing cash flow and minimizing financial risk
- Prepare reports and analysis related to treasury operations for internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing short-term investments and debt instruments
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, or related financial roles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
- Experience with treasury management systems
- Knowledge of international banking and foreign exchange
- Understanding of tax implications on treasury operations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Treasury Analyst position at Avalara in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is $60,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
