Key Responsibilities for Treasury Analyst:
- Conduct cash flow forecasting and analysis to support liquidity management decisions.
- Monitor and manage daily cash positions and transactions to ensure optimal cash balances.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
- Execute treasury operations, including funding, investments, and foreign exchange transactions.
- Prepare reports on treasury activities, compliance, and risk management for senior management review.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, accounting, and risk management teams, to support overall financial objectives.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACT, CFA, or ACCA is desirable.
- Proven experience in treasury operations or financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of cash management, financial instruments, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and treasury management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Bloomberg or Reuters terminals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The annual salary range for the Treasury Analyst position at Prudential UK is £35,000 to £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
