Position Summary
The UI Developer will join ADM’s digital transformation team, working remotely to design and implement intuitive, high‑performing user interfaces for internal and external applications. This role bridges the gap between user experience design and front‑end development, ensuring that visual concepts are translated into functional, responsive, and accessible web solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineering teams to translate wireframes and prototypes into clean, maintainable code.
- Develop responsive UI components using modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and analytics.
- Maintain design system consistency by adhering to style guides and component libraries.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions across devices.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and front‑end development.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 11 years of professional experience in UI development or related front‑end roles.
- Proven expertise in User Experience (UX) design and User Interface (UI) design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating wireframing, prototyping, and high‑fidelity mockups.
- Hands‑on experience with design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct usability testing and apply findings to improve designs.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required Education
Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or “Others” as specified). Candidates with a strong portfolio and relevant work experience will be considered.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and build tools (Webpack, Gulp).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices.
- Understanding of back‑end integration concepts (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
- Exposure to agile methodologies and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack).
- Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like InVision or Axure.
Compensation & Benefits
ADM offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $97,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
