Key Responsibilities For UI/UX Designer:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects with a focus on web and mobile applications
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Desired Skills:
- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of motion design and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Principle)
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the UI/UX Designer position at AMD Canada in Regina, Saskatchewan, is between $70,000 to $90,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
