Key Responsibilities For UI/UX Designer:
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or Figma
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with mobile app design guidelines for iOS and Android platforms
- Ability to conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the UI/UX Designer position at BlackBerry in Windsor, Ontario, Canada is between $65,000 to $85,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
