Position Summary

The UX/UI Designer will work remotely to create intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences for Bharat Electronics Limited’s product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, the role involves translating complex user requirements into elegant interfaces, ensuring consistency across platforms, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑centered solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high‑fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual mockups using industry‑standard tools.
• Apply interaction design principles and user psychology to craft seamless navigation flows and micro‑interactions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure brand consistency.
• Advise development teams on implementation details, animation specifications, and responsive behavior.
• Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the design community.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• Strong grasp of interaction design principles and ability to apply them to solve complex problems.
• Deep understanding of user behavior and psychology to inform design decisions.
• Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.
• Experience creating animation and micro‑interaction designs that enhance user engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work within collaborative design processes, including agile environments.
• Portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end design solutions, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.

Required Education

Degree in a related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or other) or equivalent professional experience.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of front‑end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate design‑hand‑off.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 to $118,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. Additional benefits include:
