UX/UI Designer at Compass Group – Remote Job Position

Position Summary Compass Group is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences that enhance user engagement across our platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into seamless, user-centric designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interaction design principles, user psychology, and modern design tools. Key Responsibilities Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define design requirements. Create animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement. Ensure consistency in design language and adherence to brand guidelines. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging design technologies. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle. Required Qualifications 5 to 11 years of professional experience in UX/UI design. Proficiency in interaction design principles and user behavior psychology. Expertise in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Strong portfolio showcasing animation and micro-interaction design work. Experience working in collaborative design processes with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Required Education A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required. Desired Skills Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Familiarity with design systems and component-based workflows. Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. Experience in the food service or hospitality industry is beneficial but not required. Compensation & Benefits Compass Group offers a competitive salary range of $61,000 to $118,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
