Key Responsibilities for Valuation Analyst:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and research to assess the valuation of various financial instruments and assets.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to provide accurate and timely valuation reports.
- Utilize advanced modeling techniques and valuation methodologies to determine fair value assessments.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with valuation standards and guidelines.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support investment decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or a related role within the banking or finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and valuation principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Desired Skills:
- CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or other financial data platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial valuation.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving business needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Valuation Analyst position at BlackRock in Denver, Colorado is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
