Key Responsibilities for Video Editor:
- Create and edit engaging video content for various digital platforms, ensuring high-quality production standards
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards that align with client objectives
- Incorporate visual effects, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance the overall video content
- Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring smooth transitions and seamless integration of audio and visual elements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and delivering projects within set deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve video editing techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role in a creative agency or production company
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production techniques
- Excellent attention to detail, creative flair, and ability to translate client briefs into compelling visual stories
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques
- Experience with colour correction and grading
- Understanding of audio editing and sound design principles
- Ability to adapt to different visual styles and project requirements
- Familiarity with 3D modelling and visual effects software is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
