Key Responsibilities For Warehouse Supervisor:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate inventory counts as needed
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping and receiving process
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and meet customer demands
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
Desired Skills:
- Certification in health and safety regulations
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Bilingual in English and French
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Warehouse Supervisor position at UPS Canada in Quebec City, Quebec, is between $50,000 and $60,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
