Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Supervisor:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products

- Implement and enforce proper inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency

- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with strong team management skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations

Desired Skills:
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and warehouse management software
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Warehouse Supervisor position at WestJet in Kelowna, British Columbia, is between $55,000 to $70,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
