Key Responsibilities for Welder:
- Interpret blueprints and welding process specifications to lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components
- Weld and fabricate structural components, including beams, columns, and plates
- Conduct inspections to ensure welding meets quality standards and specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a welder certification program or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Desired Skills:
- Experience working in the construction industry
- Certification in welding inspection or quality control
- Familiarity with construction materials and fabrication processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Welder position at Aecon Group in Oakville, Ontario, Canada is $50,000 to $70,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
