Key Responsibilities For School Administrator - Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Edmonton campus, ensuring compliance with provincial education regulations, CNA policies and health‑and‑safety standards. - Manage student services including registration, admissions, records, financial aid and graduation processes, acting as the primary point of contact for student inquiries. - Supervise and mentor a team of administrative staff, providing performance feedback, scheduling, and professional development opportunities. - Coordinate with academic departments to align course scheduling, classroom allocation and resource planning with enrolment trends. - Prepare and present regular operational reports, budget updates and key performance indicators to senior leadership. - Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, analysing workflow efficiencies and implementing technology solutions such as the campus management system. - Facilitate effective communication between faculty, students, external partners and regulatory bodies. - Ensure accurate maintenance of student records in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and other relevant legislation. - Support campus events, orientation programs and community outreach activities, promoting CNA’s brand and mission. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset. - Minimum of five (5) years of progressive administrative experience in a post‑secondary or large‑scale educational setting, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role. - Demonstrated knowledge of Alberta’s post‑secondary regulatory framework and accreditation requirements. - Proven ability to manage budgets, prepare financial reports and oversee procurement processes. - Strong proficiency with campus information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. - Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to undergo a background check and reference verification. Desired Skills - Experience with project‑management methodologies and change‑management initiatives. - Familiarity with data‑analytics tools for reporting and decision‑making. - Conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills, particularly in student‑related matters. - Ability to foster an inclusive, student‑centred environment that reflects CNA’s values of respect, integrity and collaboration. - Fluency in a second language (e.g., French) is considered a plus.
