Key Responsibilities For Store Manager
The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Asda store in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The main duties will include:
    • Leading and managing a team of department managers and sales floor colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
    • Developing and implementing store plans to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase efficiency
    • Managing store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and maintenance of store facilities
    • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implementing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities
    • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and customers to ensure the store is well-stocked and providing excellent service
    • Identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact the store's performance or reputation
    • Ensuring the store is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety, employment law, and data protection
Required Qualifications
To be considered for the Store Manager role, candidates must have:
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar industry
    • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
    • A strong understanding of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and store maintenance
    • A degree in a relevant field, such as business, retail, or management, is desirable but not essential

In addition to the required qualifications, the following skills are desirable:
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
    • A strong understanding of sales data and market trends, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions
    • Experience of managing budgets and controlling costs, with the ability to identify areas for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce waste
    • A strong commitment to customer service, with the ability to provide excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, the Store Manager will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
