Key Responsibilities For UX/UI Designer The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering user-centred design solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The main job duties will include: • Developing and implementing user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design concepts for a range of products and services • Conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering and marketing • Creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts • Developing and maintaining design systems and standards • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and applying this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: • A degree in a relevant field, such as design, human-computer interaction or a related discipline • A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in designing complex systems and interfaces • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and InVision Desired Skills In addition to the required qualifications, the following skills are desirable: • Experience with design systems and standards • Knowledge of front-end development principles and technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and principles • Experience with user research and testing methods, including usability testing and A/B testing Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
