Key Responsibilities For Editor As an Editor at Fremantle Media, you will play a key role in shaping our content and ensuring it meets the highest editorial standards. Your responsibilities will include: * Editing a wide range of content, from short-form digital videos to long-form television programmes, across various genres. * Working closely with producers and directors to develop and refine the creative vision for each project. * Providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure the content is engaging, informative, and meets the target audience's needs. * Ensuring all content adheres to Fremantle Media's editorial guidelines and brand values. * Collaborating with the post-production team to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of projects. * Staying up-to-date with the latest editing techniques and technologies. Required Qualifications * A degree in a relevant field such as Film Studies, Media Production, or Journalism. * At least 3 years of experience as an editor in a fast-paced media environment. * Proficiency in Avid Media Composer or Premiere Pro. * Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of storytelling principles. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills * Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software. * Knowledge of colour grading and sound design principles. * Familiarity with the UK broadcast industry and regulations. * Experience working on reality television formats.
