Key Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Analyst As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Micro Focus, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business insights and support informed decision-making. You will be responsible for: * Gathering, analysing, and interpreting complex data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategy and drive growth. * Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data-driven insights. * Designing and implementing data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to ensure data quality and accessibility. * Conducting ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support specific business needs and projects. * Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Required Qualifications * A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst role or a similar data analysis position. * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions. * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills * Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques. * Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. * Familiarity with agile methodologies and data-driven development practices. * Experience working in the technology or software industry. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, ranging from £35,000 to £50,000 per annum.
