Key Responsibilities For Mortgage Advisor As a Mortgage Advisor at Prudential UK in Huddersfield, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of mortgages. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing expert mortgage advice to clients, assessing their individual needs and financial circumstances * Conducting thorough fact-finding interviews to understand clients' requirements and aspirations * Researching and recommending the most suitable mortgage products from our extensive range * Preparing and submitting mortgage applications on behalf of clients * Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties throughout the mortgage application process * Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their mortgage journey * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and mortgage applications * Adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: * A CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent * A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mortgage advisory role * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service * A thorough understanding of the UK mortgage market and regulatory framework Desired Skills While not essential, the following skills would be advantageous: * Experience working with a wide range of mortgage lenders * Knowledge of protection products, such as life insurance and critical illness cover * Proficiency in using mortgage sourcing software * A proactive and self-motivated approach to work Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary package, with an annual salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
