As a DPD Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers across Leicester and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities For Bus Driver As a Bus Driver at DPD, your key responsibilities will include: * Safely operating a company vehicle to transport parcels and packages to designated delivery points. * Adhering to all traffic regulations and DPD's safety policies and procedures. * Loading and unloading parcels from the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. * Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered. * Providing excellent customer service, ensuring parcels are delivered on time and in good condition. * Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly. * Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following: * A valid UK driving licence (category D1) with a clean driving record. * A good understanding of UK road regulations and safety procedures. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings. Desired Skills While not essential, the following skills would be advantageous: * Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role. * Knowledge of Leicester and the surrounding areas. * Experience of using handheld delivery devices. * A commitment to providing excellent customer service. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
