Our hotel in Milton Keynes, South East England, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities For Restaurant Manager The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our restaurant, including managing a team of staff, controlling budgets, and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The key responsibilities of this role include: • Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and controlling costs • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue • Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the restaurant is compliant with all relevant regulations • Managing customer feedback and complaints, and implementing changes to improve customer satisfaction • Recruiting, training, and developing staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service • Working closely with other departments, such as the kitchen and bar, to ensure that our guests receive a seamless and enjoyable experience Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel • A relevant qualification in hospitality or a related field, such as a degree in hospitality management or a culinary arts diploma • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to control budgets and manage costs • A good understanding of health and safety regulations, and the ability to ensure that the restaurant is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations Desired Skills While not essential, the following skills would be desirable: • Experience of working with a range of different restaurant concepts and menus • Knowledge of food and beverage trends, and the ability to develop menus and promotions that are appealing to our target market • Experience of managing a team in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure • A good understanding of customer relationship management systems, and the ability to use these systems to manage customer feedback and improve customer satisfaction Compensation & Benefits In return for your skills and experience, we are offering a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, life assurance, and a generous holiday allowance.
