Key Responsibilities For Physiotherapist The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in the multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with a variety of conditions. The main responsibilities of this role include: • Assessing patients' physical abilities and developing individualised treatment plans • Providing physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programmes, manual therapy, and education • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centred care • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records • Participating in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge • Contributing to the development of physiotherapy services and promoting best practice Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, applicants must have: • A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) • Current membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) • A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a healthcare setting • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment Desired Skills In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills are desirable: • Experience of working in a similar setting, such as a hospital or community healthcare service • Knowledge of current physiotherapy practices and research • Ability to use electronic patient record systems • Experience of supervising students or junior staff members • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and service development Compensation & Benefits NHS Trusts offers a competitive salary range of £32,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
