Key Responsibilities For Office Manager The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Northampton office. This will involve: * Managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities management, health and safety, and general administration. * Coordinating and supporting office events, meetings and conferences. * Liaising with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring best value for money. * Maintaining accurate records and reports, including financial and administrative data. * Providing administrative support to the office leadership team, including diary management, travel arrangements and correspondence. * Supervising and mentoring a team of administrative staff, ensuring they are motivated and performing to a high standard. * Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with EY UK standards and regulations. * Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Required Qualifications * Proven experience in a similar office management role, preferably within a professional services environment. * Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting. * A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Desired Skills * Experience of managing a team of administrative staff. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. * Experience of event planning and coordination. * Familiarity with EY UK policies and procedures. * A degree in Business Administration or a related field would be advantageous. Compensation & Benefits The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary within the range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
