Key Responsibilities For Restaurant Manager As a Restaurant Manager at John Lewis Partnership in Nottingham, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of our restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include: * Ensuring exceptional customer service and hospitality standards are consistently met * Leading and motivating a team of restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management * Managing restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and stock control * Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with relevant regulations * Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and profitability * Managing budgets and controlling costs * Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders * Maintaining accurate records and reporting on restaurant performance * Implementing and adhering to John Lewis Partnership policies and procedures Required Qualifications * Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably within a high-volume environment * Strong leadership and team management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations * Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets * Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends Desired Skills * Experience in the retail industry * Knowledge of John Lewis Partnership values and culture * Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Passion for delivering exceptional customer service Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
