Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals work together to provide a comprehensive range of services, including dental care, to our residents. We are now seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team and provide dental care to our residents in our care homes.
Key Responsibilities For Dentist
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our residents, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other dental procedures. The main duties of the role will include:
    · Conducting dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health needs
    · Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet the oral health needs of our residents
    · Providing routine dental care, including fillings, extractions, and other procedures
    · Working closely with our care home teams to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care
    · Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of dental treatments and patient information
    · Participating in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
    · A degree in dentistry from a UK university or a recognised overseas qualification
    · Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
    · A valid licence to practice dentistry in the UK
    · Experience of working in a care home or similar setting is desirable, but not essential
    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our residents, their families, and our care home teams
Desired Skills
In addition to the required qualifications, we are looking for a candidate with:
    · Experience of working with older adults or vulnerable populations
    · Knowledge of the NHS dental contract and experience of working within a NHS dental setting
    · Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
    · Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload
    · Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving the lives of our residents
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary range of £70,000 to £100,000, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:
