## IT Support Analyst Location: Peterborough, East of England, United Kingdom Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience Company Overview Sage Group is a global technology company providing software and services to small and medium-sized businesses. Key Responsibilities For IT Support Analyst As an IT Support Analyst at Sage, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for: * Providing first and second-line technical support to Sage employees across various platforms and applications. * Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. * Managing user accounts, passwords, and access permissions. * Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and collaborating with network engineers to resolve complex problems. * Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software. * Documenting incidents and resolutions in our IT service management system. * Assisting with the deployment of new technologies and systems. * Providing training and support to employees on the use of Sage's technology tools. * Participating in on-call rotations to provide out-of-hours support. Required Qualifications * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role. * Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * AITL (ITIL Foundation) certification is desirable. Desired Skills * Experience with cloud-based technologies and services. * Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies. * Familiarity with IT service management tools. * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python). * A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
