Key Responsibilities For Secretary As a Secretary at NHS Trusts, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our administrative operations. Your key responsibilities will include: * Providing administrative support to senior staff, including managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings. * Preparing and distributing correspondence, reports, and other documents. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and databases. * Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner. * Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, suppliers, and other healthcare professionals. * Coordinating travel arrangements and managing expenses. * Providing general administrative support as required. Required Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years' experience in a secretarial or administrative role. * Excellent organisational and time management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Discretion and confidentiality. Desired Skills * Experience working in a healthcare setting. * Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures. * Experience with patient record systems. * Ability to speak a second language. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
