Key Responsibilities For UI Designer The UI Designer will play a critical role in creating intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces for a range of clients across various industries. The main responsibilities of this role will include: • Designing and developing high-quality, user-centered UI designs for web, mobile, and other digital platforms • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and researchers to ensure design solutions meet business requirements and user needs • Developing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and design standards to ensure consistency across all digital products • Conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions • Creating prototypes and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and tools to continuously improve design skills and knowledge Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: • A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field • At least 3 years of experience in UI design, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating user-centered designs • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard software • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels • A strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience best practices Desired Skills In addition to the required qualifications, the following skills are desirable: • Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Knowledge of design systems and accessibility guidelines • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git • Experience with user research and testing methods, including usability testing and A/B testing • Certification in design tools or methodologies, such as Certified UX Designer or Certified UI Designer Compensation & Benefits Deloitte Digital offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
