Key Responsibilities For Civil Servant As a Civil Servant within Fire Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our essential services. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing administrative and clerical support to operational teams, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations. * Managing and maintaining accurate records and databases, including incident reports, personnel files, and financial records. * Assisting with the coordination and planning of fire safety events, training sessions, and community outreach programmes. * Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including other emergency services, local authorities, and members of the public. * Providing excellent customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. * Supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement within the organisation. Required Qualifications * GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required Desired Skills * Experience of working in a public sector or emergency services environment * Knowledge of fire safety regulations and procedures * Experience of event planning and coordination * Basic first aid training Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
