Key Responsibilities For Learning Support Assistant
The Learning Support Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children at our nursery in Southend-on-Sea. The main responsibilities of this role include:
    · Assisting the teaching staff in planning and delivering activities and lessons to children
    · Providing one-to-one support to children with special educational needs
    · Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of all children
    · Supporting children with their daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep times, and personal care
    · Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
    · Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development, and contributing to regular progress reports
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
    · A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare or a related field
    · A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its requirements
    · Experience of working with children in an early years setting
    · A valid DBS check and references
    · A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Compensation & Benefits
