Key Responsibilities For Primary School Teacher As a Primary School Teacher at Nursery Chains, you will be responsible for: * Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons to a class of primary school children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. * Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages children's curiosity and exploration. * Observing and assessing children's progress, identifying individual needs, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and progress. * Collaborating with other teachers, nursery staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for all children. * Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. * Contributing to the overall smooth running of the nursery, including participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and special events. Required Qualifications * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) * Experience of teaching primary school children, preferably in an early years setting * A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its implementation * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * A passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development * A valid DBS check Desired Skills * Experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) * Knowledge of different teaching methodologies and approaches * Experience of using technology to enhance learning * A willingness to undertake additional training and development opportunities Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
