Key Responsibilities For Logistics Coordinator As a Logistics Coordinator at FedEx in Stoke-on-Trent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of packages and shipments. Your key responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and scheduling pickups and deliveries with customers and courier partners. * Managing and tracking shipments using FedEx's internal systems and software. * Resolving any logistical issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping process. * Communicating effectively with customers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages. * Maintaining accurate records and reports related to shipments, inventory, and logistics operations. * Collaborating with the operations team to optimize routing and delivery schedules. * Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and FedEx policies. Required Qualifications * A minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. * Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. * Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * A valid UK driving licence is desirable. Desired Skills * Experience with logistics software and systems. * Knowledge of UK transportation regulations and customs procedures. * Experience in managing a team or supervising staff. * A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary package, with a starting salary range of £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
