Key Responsibilities For Paramedic
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to participants in clinical trials and research studies. The main duties of the Paramedic will include:
    Assessing and treating patients in a research setting
    Conducting medical assessments and taking medical histories
    Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a doctor
    Providing patient education and support
    Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
    Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
    Participating in training and development activities to maintain and improve clinical skills
    Adhering to the Medical Research Council's policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
    A diploma or degree in Paramedic Science
    Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
    A minimum of two years' experience working as a Paramedic in a research or clinical setting
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team
    A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and support
Desired Skills
The following skills and qualifications are desirable but not essential:
    Experience of working in a research setting
    Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance
    Experience of using electronic patient records systems
    A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as public health or research methods
    Membership of a relevant professional organisation, such as the College of Paramedics
Compensation & Benefits
