Key Responsibilities For Bar Staff The main responsibilities of the Bar Staff role at Morrisons include: · Providing excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers feel welcome and valued · Taking orders, serving drinks and food, and handling cash and card transactions · Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including the bar area, tables and surrounding floors · Working effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and deliver high standards of customer service · Developing knowledge of our products, including drinks, food and promotions, to make recommendations to customers · Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner · Assisting with stock management, including ordering and receiving deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records Required Qualifications To be considered for the Bar Staff role at Morrisons, you will need to have: · Previous experience of working in a bar or hospitality environment · A good understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to delivering high standards · The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays · A basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices · The ability to lift and move stock, and to stand for long periods Desired Skills While not essential, the following skills and qualities would be advantageous: · Experience of working with a till system and handling cash and card transactions · Knowledge of drinks, including cocktails, wines and beers · The ability to speak Welsh, to communicate with our Welsh-speaking customers · A qualification in food safety or a related field · Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Compensation & Benefits In return for your hard work and dedication, Morrisons offers a competitive salary range of £18,000 to £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
