Key Responsibilities For Plumber
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, on our construction sites. The main duties will include:
    • Installing and testing plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage systems
    • Diagnosing and repairing faults in plumbing systems
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
    • Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and carpenters, to ensure successful project delivery
    • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
    • Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
    • A recognised qualification in plumbing, such as an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating
    • A valid UK driving licence
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
    • A good understanding of plumbing systems and regulations, including Water Regulations and Gas Safety
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be advantageous:
    • Experience of working on large construction projects
    • Knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD)
    • A valid CSCS card
    • First aid training and certification
    • Experience of supervising or mentoring junior staff members
Compensation & Benefits
