As a Doctor within NHS Trusts in Swindon, you will be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working together to provide excellent care to the local community. Key Responsibilities For Doctor * Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. * Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. * Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, providing clear and concise information about diagnoses, treatments, and prognoses. * Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other clinical activities to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to NHS Trusts' policies and procedures. * Stay abreast of the latest developments in medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Required Qualifications * Qualified Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent) registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). * Completion of Foundation Training Programme (F1 and F2). * Eligibility for GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK. * Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in relevant medical specialty. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to NHS values. Desired Skills * Experience in working within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting. * Specialisation in a relevant medical field (e.g., General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics). * Experience in teaching and mentoring junior doctors. * Proficiency in electronic patient record systems. * Ability to speak multiple languages.
